NAV 3.10A Hi, in earlier times there was just an information line in the bottom left area of the NAVISION window to show which table was searched when NAVISION was performing time-consuming tasks, such as altering an item no. etc. One of the hotfixes (I don’t recall which number, but I think it was the one where the fin.exe was exchanged as well) changed this behaviour and from then a centered information window shows (where you can read counter, searched table and key of the table). I’m using a report, which includes a dialog window. However, the dialog window is centered as well and thus NAVISION’s own information window covers my dialog window, which is somewhat annoying, since I need to know the contents of the dialog window. Pulling the window aside just to see the underlying dialog window is just brainless souldestroying action with respect to more than several thousand data items to be processed. Any idea how to move either the dialog window or NAVISION’s info window so the do not cover each? Thanks. Klaus
Hello, i saw similar effect only when performing automatic search in tables and object designer. May be i’m wrong and it is another case. Anyway if you’re saying about switched off status bar it can be simply disabled in parameters (“Tools”->“Parameters” ->“Status Bar”->""). Hope it’s of some use. Anthony
The solution I normally use is to make the dialog box much larger, and not use the middle part, though I haven’t tried it in your particular case. In your case, I would also concider optimizing the keys.
