Importing Excel Documents into Axapta

Hi everyone,

My company receives spreadsheets from freight companies instead of actual invoices because we are trying to save paper. Is it possible to import the Excel spreadsheets into the Axapta accounts payable invoice journal instead of manually entering all of the information? We are currently using Axapta 2009.

I would probably develop a custom solution - you can read the file through SysExcel classes, .NET API or convert it another format (e.g. CSV).

You may also want to look at Atlas (I don’t use it, so I can’t tell much about it).
