Import Item Tracking for Inventory Opening Balances

Hello,
Cn anyone help what configuration package other than Item journal line to use inorder to assign lot numbers and serial numbers to items imported for opening balances.
Tracking specification is not working

The Item Journal is the correct module. You need to ensure that the Item Journal Batch has the “Item Tracking on Lines” enabled. Why do you say the tracking specifications are not working. Please provide more details.

I have “the item tracking on lines” enabled on the item journal:
The point is that I need to do Stock Opening
I want to use configuration packages to import items along with thier item tracking details to BC
In the configuration pacjages i chose tables 83(item journal line and table 336(tracking specification)
When importing data from excel, only item journal line detailas are captured whereas Item tracking details are not captured.
The point is that i dont want to add them manually as I have a long list of items.
