Dear all, plz help me in axapta. an invoice account record can be deleteed after invoicing. i have this prblm, if i post an account and after open new work space i can delete pre record. so plz tell me how can i stop this eror,

The first thing is you have posted in to wrong forum.

the next one is your explanation is not clear. Could you post in a right forum with correct explanation of the problem.

In the AR/AP controls set teh invoice control to “locked” it only deletes the source document - all transactions remain.

i mean to say that if i registered an entry in axapta and post it for financial purpose but i think after post an entry there is no change in entry but my users who use axapta, they can delete record after post. so plz tell me how can it possible. and give mu sugestion for security purpose.after that i stop deletion in axapta after post. thanks for that.

Which Financial transaction you are talking about.

The General Journals will not be deleted once they are posted.

In case of Purchase and sales order invoices - as Adam said the invoice control parameter will help you.

The system allows to delete your purchase orders or sales orders - because some companies may have a huge purchase and sales orders and don’t want to have track of it - they can make use of this.

Even though the purchase and sales orders got deleted - the system will maintain the data of these as voided Purchase and sales orders - see in AP/AR → Inquiries → History → Voided Purchase/Sales Order (***The ledger entries will not get deleted)

hai adam, we are use DMS in axapta (2009). but when we use DMS an error showing again and again (microsoft dynamics AX client has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.) and after this error message system is being hang and force us to restart. so plz help me about it. Thanks

  2. Acronyms are no good. I presume you mean the To-Increase add-on Document Management Studio

  3. What is the error message, or is it just that it has encountered a problem and needs to close? If it is what troubleshooting have you performed? Have you reported this back?
