How to see log information about Microsoft Office Excel Import

Hi All,

A few days ago, there is a slight problem where for a particular company, records in table “LedgerJournalTrans” lost all, there is a possibility there is one user one in the process of importing data from excel. to whether there is history data or log information about each process import and import rules used clear tables before inserting records or other.

note: im using Dynamics AX 2009

I think you can see this only if you are using definition groups for importing of data.

You can see this details from the definition groups → Administration ->Periodic → Data Export/Import → Definition Groups

Select the definition group you have used to import the data - then Table setup - see the import status field and Log Files Tab.

thanks for the reply, but data from the form is still not as I expected. or maybe each user to import data from excel into table ledgerjournaltrans not go into the history data. I mean the import through a step administration → periodic → Data Export \ Import → Excel speadsheets → Micorosoft Office Excel Import.

Are you using definition groups for import of data?

HI …

Do you have any database log setups in your application? If yes you can find some information from database log.

Otherwise you can find some information from SQL log… I am not sure how to do…
