How to override Project Type

Hello,

Is there a way to override the project type in Task Order Detail? I have a Project that was setup as a FFP contract. That is what the project card indicates. Now the same project is a T&M contract. I was told all I had to do was set up a new WBS under that existing project. I set up the new WBS code then went into Task Order Detail clicked the drop down for type selected T&M…will not change from FFP. Is there a way to override to make this WBS code a T&M without setting up a new project?

It can’t be Navision, as Navision has not such functionality you are asking about…

All I know is that it is Microsoft Dynamics Navision…when I click on Properties target is the following: Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 CSIDE Client - We are running thru Citrix. If I am not at the right place sorry I bothered you.

Well, if it is Navision, you have some Project AddOn then - as I said, standart Navision doesn’t have such functionality.

I looked also at your previous post - and that shows either, that you have at least a customisation coded for your company or some AddOn.

You are… but possibility that someone has the same AddOn and will be able to answer you is small… You shoul contact your Partner company, who implemented the Navision solution in your company, they MUST be able to help you, moreover, it’s their duty.
