I have created a role and added all the menu items belong to setup tab in AP module and give access level as "NoAccess.
Even though I’m able to see few menuitems under AP → setup

If you don’t want the role to has access to some entry points, simply don’t include them in the role. Adding them and setting with NoAccess is just extra work.
You said you see them, but it’s not clear what’s your role.
I have created a new role “FormSetups” if user is assigned to this role then he should not able tosee the setups tab in AP, AR and GL.
If i assigned this single role it is working fine. if I assign Project manager/accountant or any other role showing me few menuitems under setup…
Now i want to hide setups tab whichever is assigned except system admin.
Permissions from all roles are combined. If you assign the user to the project manager role, he/she will get access to all entry points granted to the project manager role. If you don’t want some, either don’t give the user the project manager role (e.g. create your own role similar to project manager) or remove the privileges from the project manager role.
