how to create/enable dashboards in AX 2012?

Hello, we need daily Dash Board to view Open POs, Sales Orders, Invoices etc., Can some one point what needs to be set up. I believe it’s available out of box but do we need to set up analysis service? role center - please advise

and would also require Analysis services. I wonder if we require sharepoint or that we need to deploy enterprise portal?

I beleive elements are customised in SharePoint on the relevant EP site, so yes you need both of these. You can add to the standards as a user, but it does not impact on the default role centre, only the users.
