How to change the quantity in the PO after doing partial Invoice AX 2012 R3

I have a PO for ITEM 1 10 qty and partial invoiced for ITEM 1 for 5 qty and then can I change my PO qty back to 8 … If so how to do it… Please let me know appreciate your quick responses…

So change the PO to 8 on the line, 8 outstanding with 5 invoiced or 8 outstanding with 2 invoiced?

Thanks for the quick response Adam . In the PO Line I can’t change it’s not allowing me to edit the PO qty. Please let me know the reason for this.

This happens Just after Partial invoicing the line. I entered a new line and checked it doesn’t have any Issue but once I do the Partial Invoice for the line it gets block and can’t do any more changes to the line. What could be the reason for this. Please help me.

Is there a fix for this has anyone encountered this issue please let me know.

Yes. I have just checked this scenario in the system and it is not editable after invoicing the partial quantity eventhough safety level of invoiced orders set to None in the procurement and sourcing parameters. Not sure if this is an issue or standard business process as the same is allowed in the sales order.

What is your business requirement to do this? Why can’t we use the Deliver remainder functionality to short receive or invoice the PO quantity.
