How to add control add ins for Treemap data visualization (Customer and Item)


I would like to use TreeMap visualization and Item visualzation add ins in NAV 2009 R2 but I am not able. I imported tue objects but I cant run them.

Any help will be appreciated.


On the R2 product DVD there is a document called “Treemap Business Data Visualization for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.pdf” that describes the installation process for the Treemap add-in.

There is another one for the Item Availability add-in.


There is an folder in the DVD named as EXTRAS and inside that there are two addins one is Treemap and another is Interactive Timeline.

Open the folder Treemap- Business Data Visualization,and try to install the setup there ( you might get a error of windows installer if you get something like this please download the latest Windows Installer 4.5 from microsoft site ).

After successful installation of the Treemap you need to import the FOB from “c:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Treemap Business data Visualization” into the database.

Two new objects will be created one will be Page 55555 and codeunit 55555.

Run the page 55555 and you can see the customer treemap.

For Customization there is a PDF give where it tell how can you customize it for sales order.
