How does Last Unit Cost Calc. Date get updated??

On the Item Card we use FIFO and the Unit Cost and Last Direct Cost get updated all the time but for some reason this field Last Unit Cost Calc. Date doesn’t seem to get updated very often even though we sell the same part many times.

What does it take for this date field to get updated??

Our sales people are getting confused thinking the part’s cost hasn’t been updated in a while.

This field shows the date on which you ran the Calculate Standard Cost batch job last.
