Grouping Items to Item group

Dear Experts, Good day

I have some Non-inventory items like:

  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3

and some of these items belong to Item group like

  • Item group 1
    • Item 1
    • Item 3
  • Item group 2
    • Item 2
    • Item 3

I need to know how can I sell and the purchase the Item group, not the item itself.

This is very similar to assembly functions in NAV/BC but with inventory items.

Any Ideas please how to achieve the same but for the non-inventory items?

Also looking for some resources about the item type (Service) how to deal with it purchasing selling, etc.

Why is it that you cannot use the assembly functions?

This is not standard, but as you have no way to sell “item groups”, then it would have to be developed for you.
