We buy the same chemical raw material for GMP and non-GMP production. GMP receipt of goods requires a different workflow than non-GMP receipt of goods (mainly GMP requires internal acceptance testing, non-GMP does not). Aside from setting up two items under different item model groups, is there a way to indicate a raw material for GMP receipt testing at time of order placement when the same item could be ordered and not require the testing on receipt? Perhaps there is a way to trigger a quality work order upon receipt without it being part of the item model group requirements?
