Hi there I am trying to cancell FA entries using the cancell transaction on FA but I am getting this error FA Posting Type Depreciation must be posted in the FA journal in Gen. Journal Template Name=‘Assets’. Journal Batch Name=Depreciation,Line No=‘10000’

There can be various reasons - from setup to incorrect order or way of cancelation… It’s too long to explain here ALL possible reasons…
Please search the forum for Cancel FA - only I myself have written about this several times in the past year’s time, and there were other threads, too.
added: BTW - WHICH Journal you used??? All cancelations shoud be done by batchjob, found in FA Card / Depr.Book / Ledger Entries / Functions / Cancel Entries…
This will create the Journal entries for you to post.
