what is procedure for tranferring assets from one loc. to another location… is there any accounting implications…

You can use FA Reclassification Journal .
Create a another FA Card and do the posting through FA Reclassification Journal when you post this ,
the program will create lines in FA G/L journal useing the Templete and batch which you specified.
When the FA G/L Journal posted , both FA entries and G/L entries will move to one asset to another.
good…but what about the documention for trnsferring of assets
On the standard application there is no document for Fixed Assets Transfers. If any document like a Transfer Order (which is available on the Inventory) is required, that can be generated (customized report) from the journal.

If the question is about physical relocation between 2 FA Locations - then, Navision does NOT trace such relocations in any way, you can only change FA location code field in FA Card, but you can’t even create a customized report showing this change, as previous value is not stored anywhere…
PS There is at least one localised version (Latvian), where FA Location changes are traceable, some additional tables are needed aka FA Loc History, and I wonder WHY it is not added in standart yet, as many customers have been asking for it.
