Filter Planning Worksheet for Release SO

Hi folks,
Is there any way to filter the Sales Order demand for the Planning Worksheet, so it includes Released SO only?
Sales Orders in Open state are essentially draft, and if a salesperson leaves one uncompleted we don’t want the planning worksheet to suggest purchases or production based on that demand. Sales will Release an SO when it is ready to be planned and prod orders created for the factory team. It seems unusual that it includes SO in both Statuses…

Cheers,
Hamish

Sales Quotes are non-demand documents. I would encourage your Sales team to utilize Sales Quotes for draft orders. When the order is ready to go, they can use the “Make Order” button to create the Sales Order. There is no additional data entry required at that point.

Hamish - it is possible to exclude an ‘Open’ Sales order from planning.
It is a manual process but if orders a low enough volume it could work for you.
Simply after entering the Sales Order blank out the ‘Shipment’ Date on Shipping and Billing section (which will blank out all shipment dates on the lines)

Create and save a user filter to list all sales orders with a blank Shipment date to know which orders need further processing. Once you know the shipment date you can update the Shipping and Billing Shipment Date and all lines will be updated and Planning will include the lines.
