Ok, Just saw might first match this year. Denmark against the Netherlands. We lost! [:(] 2:0 and then both we made a goal!
But first half was a great match. If the Netherlands is one of the teams they think could win the Cup, then I would actually say that Denmark would be able to get very far, because they really started out great.

For some reason, although loaded with talent, the Dutch always seem to struggle to put it together as a team. If they can build on this win, I think there’s a good chance Holland can go far.
It’ll probably be Argentina with some fluke “hand of god” ref screwup, and Diego will be even more insufferable.

Those horns make it sound like there is a swarm of killer bees in my house. How annoying. It’s one thing to blow them due to a score or some other game related action, but constantly for no reason. Enuf!
Oh yes those horns!!! Very annoying! And I feel that’s it’s actually taking away some of the excitement of watching the games, instead of really being able to follow the spirit of the game, then you just have this monotone noise!
And the Dutch sure does have a chance, I did think that they were actually playing a decent game in the second half.
The Vuvuzelas give a definite advantage to South Africa, which is probably why they are no banned. For the local team thi is pretty normal, but it will be very annoying to other players, especially that basically they will have no fans supporting them, or at least it will seem that way because all they will hear is what seems to be support for South Africa.
Damn smart move if you ask me.
I would not be surprised if those vuvuzelas will be standard gear for soccer matches worldwide. All fans love those things.

Don’t get me wrong, I think they are irritating beyond belief, but the fans at the stadiums seem to all love them. If I were at one of those stadium I would probably buy one. They’re selling them like hotcakes in team colors, and I would not be surprised if they are going to be a part of soccer everywhere.
I sure am missing the OOOOH’s and AAAAAAAH’s at missed opportunities, and simply sounds of the game.
