has this forum an extended search with filter options? if yes, where is it? if no, would be nice if there is one.
how can i filter/search for posting of the last month/the last year, … 10 year old postings are seldom helpful.

Sadly to say that the search options we have right now is not that strong. And with the current platform (Community Server 2008.5) it’s not in my power to make this possible.
BUT I am working on a replacement for this platform. I actually have have been working on this for the last 4 years (on and off). And one of the reasons why this as not resulted in a new website, was that the search options was not good enough. About two months ago I finally (hopefully) found the right candidate for a replacement platform and it looks much brighter now. Except there is still a lot of work ahead.
Get much better search options is surely on the “must have” list…
