I want to export objects from one server and import those in other server.Their are 2 ways to do this:
One way to do this is create a project and export the project.
Other way is going to programme files-- >microsoft dynamics— >application folder and selecting the some layer files.What are those files.could any one tell me this process.This is best way.
we copy some files and paste those files in other server application folder.How to do this.

Thanks for your replay.I am working with upgradation from 4.0 to ax 2009.I am new to this concept.In the document it is mentioned as
to export layer wise modifications and rename the layers.
