Hi We encountered this error during sales in POS:

THE AUTHORISATION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED SYSTEM.OUTOFMEMORYEXCEPTION WAS THROWN

Below is the description in the event log:

The description for Event ID 1 from source Dynamics AX Retail cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Exception of type ‘System.OutOfMemoryException’ was thrown.

Have you guys encountered this? We could not continue the trasaction and it had to be voided. POS continued working normally after that.

The error says that there was no memory available for allocation. But we don’t know your system nor situation when the error was logged, so it’s impossible to say whether simply have too little RAM or there is a software problem (such as a memory leak) somewhere.
