hi frinds,

how to export the data into excell sheets from tables?

for example ,

take vendtrans table,i want to export the data into excell sheets form vendtrans table

i am using axapta 3.0

Hi Murali,

go to Admin module … Administration > periodic > Data export/import > Excel spredsheets > Template Wizard

run the wizard, select the required table.

thanks for reply,

it is possibe in ax 2009 but it is not possible in axapta 3.0

when i am trying in 3.0,only structure is coming but data is not coming

could u please tell me …

You can do it in 3.0. Administration > Periodic > Data export/import > Definition groups. Create a Definition group of Type “Standard” for that table and use the “Export to” button. Choose File Type Comma and open the file with Excel.

while running the wizard there will be a checkbox for data export until and unless you select the checkbox you wont get the data.
