Hi All, I am having a problem creating an Excel Workbook by using the Navision Application Server. When executing the function manually from the same machine NAS is using, the file gets created and emailed off to the intended recipients with no problems. [8D] When executing the same function through NAS, an error in the Event Log appears : “Excel not found”. [V] And yes, Excel is installed on the machine. Any ideas? “From the same machine…” Yes. But are you logged in as the same user as NAS? Try do that and run the same code
Been there done that. I am running the NAS service with ADMIN permissions on the machine… When I physically log in and run it, it works…
Could be Excel that doesn’t like to be called from a non-GUI session. We have seen the same problem with Zetafax. You can’t have NAS doing a lot of faxing with Zetafax. You need a GUI. Perhaps there is similar problems with Excel? /Lars
