Hi All [:)],
While trying to Configure the RTC profile i am getting an error like
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
You do not have the permission to configure the ‘XXX’ profile.
OK
The Command i have given through the command Prompt is
Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe -configure -profile:“XXX”
I wanted to customize the menu suite in RTC(Hide the Sales and purchase from Department Menu) for a particular user.
Is this error because of my license. I have a developer license with me. Please let me know the walk-through

Came acrros this post as I did get the same error message. Found the solution here: Configuring a Profile in Role Tailored client .
In short: you need to be the owner of the profile to be allowed to configure it this way.
