Error while Running a Export to Excel Report From RTC

Hi all,

I am getting an error while running a Export to Excel report From Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION 2009 SP1 Role Tailored Client.

Its working fine from the classic Client.

The amazing thing is that the error comes for a particular user from a particular machine.

The error message is “this message is for c/al programmers: the call to member add failed. the server threw an exception.(Exception From HRESULT:0x80010105(RPC_E_SERVERFAULT)).”

we tried to resolve the issue by re-installing excel and Navision on the client machine.

Please let me know how this can be resolved.

Instead of using Automation server you can use the SAVEASEXCEL Function.
