we are using AX 2009 version. The journal is created through excel upload
if i try post 10 lines or 50 lines it will get post without any error.
i tried syncing the related tables but no luck
Is that the excel upload a custom one?
You need to identify which line of journal is causing this error? Does the errors shows you any of the line details?
Have you tried using 'Post and transfer ’ option (try this in TEST)?
There were limitations in Excel and AX in this version but it is now 7 years ago so difficult to remember. I am sure there was a hotfix produced for this exact issue, journals with many lines simply failed to process, I would start there with the searches or ask MS.
If you constantly reproduce this issue with 1000+ lines (try with different journals) then it could be a bug, else there could be an issue with the journal data it self. You need to use the post and transfer option in a test environment and see if that helps you to find out the journal line that is causing the error.
If the records u importing are already exist in Form, it might show this error.
Its an suggestion as I tried to import I got this error when I tried to copy data from existing to new company, I have excel file and I tried to import it on AX through job and wat i did is I deleted all those records in the new table and run that job…
It got inserted into the table…
In test server it got posted without any warning or error.
when we checked the test server there is an hot fix installed in Test server and not moved to production environment.
