Error when starting Dynamics NAV Server Service

Hi.

I installed NAV 2013 on a computer that had Windows7 to 64 bits. and SQLSERVER 2008R2, and i get this error when i tried to start the Dynamics NAV Server Service.

Server instance: DynamicsNAV70 Session type: UnknownClient Session ID: 0 The service MicrosoftDynamicsNavServer$DynamicsNAV70 failed to start. This could be caused by a configuration error. Detailed error information:System.BadImageFormatException: Se ha intentado cargar un programa con un formato incorrecto.

(Excepción de HRESULT: 0x8007000B) en Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Runtime.NativeMethods.AdapterStartCSIDE(ErrorHandler errorHandler, ConvertTimeZoneFunc convertLocalToUtcFunc, ConvertTimeZoneFunc convertUtcToLocalFunc, Int32 defaultLanguage, String serverTempDirectory) en Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Runtime.NavEnvironment…ctor() en Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Runtime.NavEnvironment.get_Instance() en Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.WindowsServices.NavServerWindowsService.OnStart(String[] args).

Is any other version of NAV is installed on the same machine. ???

I suggest sql server 2012 for nav 2013… there are few issues with 2008 R2… relatign to sql coallation and other things

What collation types are supported by NAV2013.

You need to use SQL Server 2012 for the same.

SQL Server 2012 Express is a Prerequisite Components of NAV 2013.
