Error when running report

Hello,

When creating new reports for NAV 09, Can someone please advise if I MUST create the layout in VS? I have created a new report and I have compiled and saved it but when I try to run the report from RTC I get the error:

"The supplied server name is not valid"

Am I getting this error because I have not created the layout in VS?

Please advise.

Hi Teena,

No you don’t have to create the layout in VS, at the cost NAV will give you a “Classic Report”.
