error void gift card

Hi all,

When i void gift card in inquiry, I got error message.

“Main account for dimension 0 could not be found, method mergeAccountAndDimension has been passed the wrong parameters.”

Is there any setup account for gift card that i miss?

This error occur when i try to void. But when i issue, it runs well.

I am not really sure about this functionality, but looking at the code,

You need to set up sales revenue account for the gift card item and the offset account,

( i have copied the description from the method, this explain how the offset account is considered)

The offset account which will be debited when a gift card is voided is driven by set up on the inventory management parameters. If the check box to use the inventory posting account is checked then the return consumption account on the inventory posting set up will be used. If this is not checked then the account set up with the reason code on the gift void reason codes table will be used as the offset.

My product is service type. so it is non stock. Could you point me which account that i must setup?.I don’t find any setup that you mean.
