Error The maximum length for a string value is 10.

Hi Guys

When i am running a report in RTC i gets this ERROR The maximum length for a string value is 10.

But when i am running the same report in classic its working fine.[8-)]

Can anyone help me

My first question here is: does the error come from NAV or from the report tool? So is it upon generation of the report data or in the “presentation”?

And I guess that you’ve already checked that the string giving you the error actually is supposed to support more than 10 characters?

Hi Erik P. Ernst,

Its solved its was the error of User ID in NAV i was using different User ID, the one i am using on RTC.
