hi, have been trying to create another database on the existing server that runs navision 4.00 and i get this message ‘The TCP/IP connection’s host is not answering (TCP/Ip Error ECConnREFUSED’’.What is the problem and how can i solve it? Any ideas please
What exactly are you trying to achieve? Setup an additional Navision server service on a server that already has one running? Have you modified both the hosts and services file? Or simply “opening” the fdb file that is located on a server? It would be really helpfull if you could specify what exactly you want to achieve and what you have done so far… Basically the error message says that there is no Navision service running on the server/port that you are using to connect to the server.
