Enterprise portal issue

Hi

I want to install Enter Prise portal , I have installed dynamics ax 2009 sp1.

in server1

Now I want to install Enter prise portal in Server1 cause this is Dynamics Ax server machine.

but In Server2 already installed Sahrepoint services .

I have rights to use that server2 Sahrepoint services Now can how to install Enterprise portal in server1?

I am trying to install EP ( means RolesCenters and Enterprise portal Dotnet business connetor) I am getting error info is connection with application object server is not established

Check whether the AOS is stopped or something!!

Its understood that its not able to configure with the AOS u selected to install EP.

Hi,

You have to install EP and RC in the same server where you have installed SharePoint.

Regarding the error - check the configuration (such as AOS server, port number etc) of Business connector is correct. Information on BC configuration is available here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa548683.aspx

I have 2 AOS 2 instance for 2 environments.

Even sharepoint is not in the same machine the error is regarding sharePoing?

Hi,

As I mentioned in my previous post, EP can ONLY be installed in the server where SharePoint (either WSS or MOSS) is installed.

So in your case, you need to install EP/RC in Server2 where you have installed SharePoint services.

in server2 ax is not there only, MOSS is installed. is it possible to install EP in Server2.

Yes, you can install EP/RC in Server2 where you have installed MOSS.

I also would recommend installing DAX client in this server.
