I have a customer were we’ve Imported an HTML Picture (logo) on to the Sales Order document. When we preview the Order, everything looks great. You now SEND via email and the HTML and BMP file are attached and sent. You try to open the HTML and the logo is not seen. Any ideas why? It seems that the operating system does not where to find the picture attached. Thanks, Steve
When the HTML file is created, it is created with another file called pic1.bmp. This BMP file is referenced without a path: For this reason, if you want to see the picture, the BMP file must be in the same folder as the HTML file. Solution: Save both files in the same folder and open the HTML file.
I understood that the e-mail you send has 2 attachments: 1 HTML file + 1 BMP file. But when the recipient opens the HTML file, the logo (BMP file) is not displayed. If this is what’s happening, it’s because the e-mail client is saving the HTML file to a temporary location in order to open it. However, it has no idea it should also save the BMP file to the same location for correctly displaying it. As far as the e-mail client is concerned, the 2 attachment are not related. The solution is, as David states, manually saving both files to the same folder before opening the HTML file. This kind of defeats the whole purpose, I guess…
David: Thank you. I need it to be seemless so the Customer does not have to think. Steve

Nelson: Thank you and you are correct. I’m looking for a seamless solution. Steve

You should go for pdf instead. There’s a lot to read about pdf-generation in the forum. I recommend Amyuni PDF Converter. Works nice.
I fully support Lars’ suggestion. There are never any formatting issues with a PDF file.
Lars and Nelson - I agree this works perfectly.
