Editing Permissions for a user group in NAV

I have a user group in NAV called NavAP.

I would like to remove the Role “Edit - Vendors” from this log in group.

Can anyone help me with this?

Which version NAV you are using ??

Is it RTC or classic client ??

Hello Bill,

Since we don’t know the version of NAV you are currently in, we have given solutions for both Classic & RTC clients. Hope it helps.

Follow the steps mentioned below If you are using Classic Environment:

  1. Go to Tools → Security -->Windows Login
  2. Select the Group “NAVAP”
  3. Click Roles button
  4. Select the Role “Edit – Vendors”
  5. Delete the Line
  6. Confirm deleting the Role

Follow the steps mentioned below if you are using RTC Environment:

  1. Go to Departments → Administration → IT Administration → General → Users
  2. Select the user group “NAVAP”
  3. Double Click it
  4. Navigate to the “User Permission Sets” fast tab.
  5. Select the role ”Edit-vendors”
  6. Right Click and Choose “Delete Line”

By executing the above mentioned steps, you can remove the role from the user group.
