Does anyone have documentation telling what fixes or additions the service packs have added to NAV? I have looked every where and I can’t find it at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
You can get that from the partnersource or the product cd doc name - ChangesInNAV# SP* .You can also search for it in the downloads area…
If the specific version you are looking for aren’t in download section, tell me and I will try to put in download section.
I did not see what I was looking for in the download section. I am looking for the documents that show fixes or new additions in SP2 and SP3. This way I can compare if we should stay at 4.0 SP 1, go to SP2 or SP3 or just go to 5.0. I would prefer to go to 5.0, but I am only allowed suggestions so I want to have as much documentation as possible. Thanks for your help.
I have uploaded documents:

NAV5.0: Changes Made in Microsoft Dynamics NAV W1 5.0 (March 07)

There are already a few topics about subject.
If you want stability and a list of know issues stay in NAV 4.0 SP3. If your implementation don’t have many customizations probably will be easy to upgrade to NAV 5.0.
If you wait a few months I probably would recommend upgrading to NAV 5.0
Thanks so much for the information. This is exactly what I was looking for. So in your opinion you would stay with 4.0 SP3? You would at least upgrade to that from 4.0 SP1, right? I am in a tricky situation because we just changed VAR’s do to our old VAR just being bad and are working with a new one to see what should be done. We both believe that our dimensions are pretty messed up, so we should know by the end of the week if a complete start over would be better. If that was the case, would you recommend 5? I went to Convergence this year and can see some pretty nice improvements in 5.0 that would really help me, especially in Service. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks for all of your time and help.
You are planning an upgrade to a newer version of Navision and you have problems with your current implementation you must do a choice.
Make a new implementation and old implementation will be available to user open historic data or upgrade also data. If you are upgrading also data, normally I recommend fixing all your issues in your current implementation before upgrading (costing problems, etc).
With every new Navision implementation there a lot of bugs and also a few fixes.
If you analyse Navision 4.0 history you will notice that the most stable version is SP3 (obvious). In Navision 4.0 (without any SP) has a full bugs. Even in SP2 I had to report a few bugs to Microsoft and wait that they give me back an answer.
NAV 5.0 has a lot of new features and some users would love to have it. I think this version it’s more tested and better developed than the first Navision 4.0 series.
A few posts / blog to help you decide

I forgot to mention, upgrade toolkits for NAV 5.0 will probably will available only in August.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Thanks for all of your insight on what to do, it is greatly appreciated. Overall, I think I would be happy either way, 4.0 SP3 or 5.0. I agree with you in the fact that we first need to fix the problems that will be carried over to the new version. Thanks for the help, I will most definitely be posting more questions for help.
A big welcome to you. Two things we like very much on this site. People that ask questions, and then listen to the advise they are given, and even more, those that make the effort to come back and say think you. I think you will find your self very welcome, and we will try to help you as much as possible.
