Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to show that any particular record in AX 2012 has an attachment linked to it. Right now, you cannot tell if there is a note/document/picture tied to any particular record unless you click on the attachments button in that record. Has anyone or does anyone know of a way to indicate on the record that there are included attachments? Or would this wholly be a developmental project?

Hi Adam,

In your user options (File>>Tools>>Options>>General>>Document handling), if you select the “Document Status”, then the when you select a record the “Attachements” icon will be highlighted if there are attachments.

If you require a visual indicator as in the collections transactions form, then a development will be required.
