DMF not visible in ax2012

Hi all,

I have installed DMF(Data Migration Framework) in ax 2012 successfully and also done with the compilation and synchronize the database but the DMF button is not visible.

It is not a button…it is a module. can please check in module list…

Thanks for replying… I have checked in module list also. it’s not there.

Go to AOT-> Menu and check here DMF is available or not.

If available then place that into “MainMenu”.Then you can able to see this in module list.

If it is not available in the menu that means you have not installed properly.

I am installing it again and able to get past the pre-req screen but then this error occurs.

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
