DIXF - Create a custom entity for data import/export

Hello,

One of users is trying to create Custom entity and he is getting the below error. It seems like purely access issue.

Me being an System Administrator on the system it is creating the project.

I am not sure what security access he needs to have. Has anyone had run into similar security issue and able to fix it? Our version is AX 2012 R3 CU13.

Any input is appreciated.

Hi,

Right click on the Form → Add-ins → Security tools → View related roles. This would give a clue on the roles needed for this form.

Thank you for the reply. I see it and the user already had been assigned the ‘DMF Data import/export framework service’ (DMFAdministrator is the AOT name) and it still complains about Access denied error. When SA is assigned then the user was able to navigate past the error and was able to use the DIXF. Previous users had the same DMFAdministrator role and never had any issues for them to access the DIXF. Need to see what else is causing for the users now.
