Different accounts for a category for tracking expenses

Hi There,

I created an expense category with an account (Say, ABCDEF). Now, I want to track the expenses for this category under project module with a different account (Say, ABCXYZ).

How do I achieve that?

You can have a different “Category name” but not different “Category ID”.

I would prefer making it generic and then differentiate by using different “Category name” in Expense categories and Project categories list.
