In order to optmize the Inventory Control , I do miss functionality to determine the dead stock. Any Ideas??
Do you mean the stock that stays in the inventory for a long time?
Have you tried the inventory aging?

I know the inventory aging report , quiet usefull!
You are correct , dead stock is the untouched stock , for a very long time. The aging report helps here…
However there is a second meaning of dead stock…
From my SAP days I am used to a report that shows the stock level compared to the safety stock of the material.
Doing this analysis you can learn if the safety stock is through time too high or not.
If the safety stock is too high , you end up with continuous dead stock for this material…
Could not find a (standard) report to do this analysis…
I haven’t seen such a report, but we can always build a custom report according to our need.
There is a critical onhand report, but that shows the inventory that is less than your minimum inventory levels.
