what is the purpose of running dcpromo.exe in active domain services installation wizard…
i cant understand how workflow and dcpromo.exe and active domain services are inter-related…???

dcpromo.exe installs AD components and creates a domain, where we can create users and login with domain/narendra and password . And as AX is integrated with AD, we can import the AD users into our AX.
for workflow execution it requires a dummay user account in AD (say user account as BCProxy) with fixed password (password never expires) this Dummy user account will serve for work flow process and this user is authenticated automatically with AD.
