I am little bit confused regarding ssrs configuration in d365fo. just want to know is there any changes as configuration point of view if we compare ax 2012.
what i understand from below link is current ssrs service is running with Azure compute emulator and we dont required any manual configuration.
please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

The emulator is used in development environment. You’re correct - you don’t do anything. The environments have already been configured by Microsoft. You either deploy a VM to Azure or download a VHD.

It isn’t. Such environments don’t use mere emulators of Azure - they use real Azure resources. Also, they aren’t deployed in the same way as development environments.
It still true that you don’t need any configuration, just in case of T2+ environments, you aren’t even allowed to change configuration. These environments are managed by Microsoft.
