Hi,

I am started upgrading NAV 4.0 sp3 to NAV 2009 sp1. I want to know whether customer needs to upgrade his license file. or we can use same 4.0 license file in 2009 spl version. hope some one could help me on this. and pls share any upgradation estimation template.

Yes, Your customer need to upgrade its license file from version 4.0 sp3 to 2009 sp1 for using the upgraded NAV2009 sp1 version. To complete this task, consult your current partner to provide a better estimated solution.

If your customer has an active support plan (they should if they are upgrading) then it is just a matter of their “partner of record” generating an updated license.
