What is customer classification group in dynamics ax 2009?

i dont understand it.

It is a field for classifying your customers to the needs of the business to allow analysis.

It can help you identify which customers are preferred when your inventory quantities are low. for example sales orders for customers classified as A are considered first when Item quantity available is less than required.
