Dear Experts,
We are facing an issue where a custom page is not visible in Business Central.
When we try to run the page through an action, the system shows the following error:
“Sorry, the current permissions prevented the action.
(Table 50011 – HS Codes, HS Code Execute: New Development)”
Please note that the user is already assigned the SUPER permission set, but the issue still persists.
Due to this issue, we are unable to edit or enter data in the newly customized fields.
Kindly help us understand why this error is occurring and advise on how to resolve it.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Hi @dharmesh_patel
Could you please recheck whether the user has been assigned the Super permission set by reviewing the permission sets applied to the user who is trying to insert data into the custom table?
If possible, please share a screenshot showing only the permission sets assigned to that user, and I’ll be happy to assist further.
Hello Dharmesh_Patel,
I have seen this a lot and it usually points to a licensing issue. I’ve only ever used the on-prem version of NAV/BC so from that stand point, you have to purchase custom table/pages/codeunits/reports. If you don’t have enough pages, you will run into this issue. As a matter of fact, I ran into this once last year and another this year, because the developer didn’t realize this limitation when creating my customization.
Regards,
Mostly it happens when you move to production or installed manaually.
To resolve this issue, make sure you made a permission set using AL.
Then Assign that permission set to user, even if you are super use, for custom app you need to setup the permission set specially when you’re installing on production.
Thank you, @Hardik_Gupta, @Jimmy_Yu and @Sajjad_Yousuf for your guidance.
User has super permission assigned. I think the issue is that there are not enough Custom Tables/Pages, as @Jimmy_Yu replied, so we are working on it.
Are you using On-Prem? If you’re using On-prem then you can get this issue.
