Costing method need to change form FIFO to Standard

Hi All expert,

I have one query i have one client who is using FIFO method for item now he want to change the costing method to Standard , any one has an idea how it has to be done because while changing the costing method its shows the error. which not allow me to change the costing method

Hiiiii

You can’t change the costing method of an item. System throws error for present inventory and if you made inventory zero, then for ILE’s present for that item.

What you can do, negative adjustment of items to make inventory zero, block that item and create a new item same as previous with changed costing method and make positive adjustment of inventory.
