Hello
We have a user who wants to copy an appointment (that contains data) in Outlook. Note that this appointment is already tracked in Dynamics D365.
The issue is the new appointment that was copied in Outlook keeps all the details from its “parent”, like CRMID, status, category, etc.
As a result, in D365CE we just see the parent appointment, while in Outlook both appointments are supposedly “tracked”, but it’s not true! Untracking or deleting the “new appointment” seems to create more problems…
Has someone found a way to reassign the copied appointment to the CRM as a different appointment while not affecting the “parent appointment”? We tried to find a workaround but no luck. The only thing we said to our users is : “do not copy appointments”!
Thanks
