Convert Sales Order to Transfer Order

I’m trying to determine if a Sales Order can be converted to a Transfer Order. We have Special Ordered Products that are not planned for, but we need a signal to produce the product 4 weeks out. We are looking for the sales order to be created and automatically give a delivery date 4 weeks out. Then we it’s produced, we want that sales order converted to a transfer order to be shipped to one of our locations as an inventoried item.

Is it possible in NAV 2013? If so, what steps are needed in the set-up?

I don’t think there’s any out of the Box functionality for this.

May be you need to go ahead with the customisation.

But via Transfer Order you can only do the transaction between Locations , you can not ship to the Customer so eventually at the end you need to complete the transaction for Sales order.
