Concurrent installations of Axapta client (with and without KR2)

Hi,

We are currently in the process of migrating from SQLServer 2000 to SQLServer 2005. This means that we need to install Axapta KR2.

For the transition period we need to maintain two AOSs, one with SQLServer 2000 (no KR2) and the other has SQLServer 2005 (with KR2).

If I want to be able to access both AOS’s through my workstation, how do I do this?

Currently, I have Axapta 3.0 client installed on my workstation. I thought I could use the Axapta Configuration Utility to create a configuration that would point to the Axapta client with the KR2.

But I don’t want to install KR2 if it means that I will no longer be able to access the AOS without the KR2.
