Cheque Layout feild missing unable to select no drop down box

Hi All,

I am new to these forums and to Navision. I have a bit of a odd problem were we have Navision 4 running in one environment and had a contractor install Navision 4 at another site (different city). The problem is that in the New environment under Payment Jounals options we are unable to see the Check Layout option to select the correct bank.

How ever this option is available in the other environment I am unable to find where to turn or set this option?

How does one make cheque layout feild visable… Excuse me if I misunderstand the operations of the program…

Any info would be great…

How would I find this information out? what would cause the cheque layout box to be missing? I dont think its ever displayed in the new environment correctly.

Any help would be great… Thanks…

If you are not a technical person, please contact your Partner…

If the field is available in table then you can display on form

go the above window and press CTRL+F2

click on field menu

select cheque layout field and place on the form

save the form

you will be able to see that box on the form

I am very technical,

I have my VCP3,VCP4 Linux Red Hat training been in the I.T feild for 15 + years… Run my own I.T shop and heavy into Open Source VoIP solutions Virtualization and Linux…

I however will be completely honest with you, I have never seen Navision B4 or worked with it thus my posting in this beginners thread for some general help :confused:

so do you mean the field is visible to some users and invisible to some users?

or you want to make it as above?

or it is not at all visible to all?

Unfortunately the field is missing when selecting CTRL +F2 cheque layout field does not seem to be present…

Kindly check whether they have change the caption of the field

As well as check in other environment whether that field is renamed or by Pressing CTRL+F2 check the source expression of that box in other environment or wherever it is visible.

Its strange that field is visible in one environment and not in another…

I hope you didnt do any upgrade process like merging to miss the field also…

Can you show us the screenshot of request form in design mode…

Press Ctrl+F2 on screen and View–>Request Form
