We are having a problem when a user changes their name (gets married). The name is changed in Active Directory but not in Navision. When you try to add the user in windows logins you can find the name via lookup, but is not valid when selecting. The old name is valid to type in. Is there something else we should be doing more than changing the name in Active Directory?
Had the same problem… simply delete (F4) the user from the “Windows login” window in Navision, confirm that you want to delete also the SQL login, wait 1 minute to be sure that also the server got the command, then renter the windows login in Navision. Done![:D]
